MMP Launches “Live Lesson Resources”

We are delighted to launch our brand new “Live Lesson Resources” portal on the MMP website.  Bringing together musical resources conceived and refined over many years by David Stanley and the Music Man Project, the portal allows for fast and easy learning, sharing and rehearsal.

The system has been built to work on most tablets, mobile devices and desktop computers and allows teachers, assistants and students to access real-time multimedia support during Music Man sessions.  With simple, responsive page layout and instant access to sheet music, lyrics, guides, backing tracks and sample performance videos, learning our ever-growing repertoire of songs has never been easier.  A simple interface lets users quickly scroll through sheet music using either their cursor keys, a mouse or even touchscreen gestures.  There’s no need to download any files – just go straight to the content you need and access it instantly during classes.  Play professional backing tracks and group recordings; even brush up on your signing too with active demonstrations by our own tutor and regional director, Jenny Hitchcock.

The complete system is free to use and currently includes a full set of resources covering seven of our most popular pieces, with more songs and extra content to be added over the coming months.  With less than four months to go until our landmark inaugural performance at the Royal Albert Hall, what better time to log on and brush up on your performance skills?
