New Lockdown Content and Live Lesson Resources

While the unprecedented conditions brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic continue to keep us all in lockdown, the Music Man Project is offering a range of services to help us stay safe, protect the NHS and stay in touch with the music we love.

The more separated we are, the more we need to join together in other ways to support one another. With this in mind the Music Man Project has recently launched #MMPWired consisting of online lessons, live Facebook sing-alongs, music videos and new rehearsal material to entertain families and enable students to practice at home. We have also released the first series of The Music Man Project Podcast, featuring interviews, music and news stories from our projects across the UK and around the world and have updated our YouTube channel to showcase the talents and achievements of our amazing musicians over the past 20 years.

Our website’s completely unique Live Lesson Resources section has now been updated to include three new songs: Concerto for Trumpet, Trombone and Triangles; Join Together and Blaze Away. Resources for The Liberty Bell have been extended and the section now includes one of the new graphic tutorials produced by Kent Regional Director, Sarah Mann. “Mann’s Magical Musical Slideshows” feature on each of our latest song pages and provide visual cues to help students perform in time to the music.

Stay at home, stay safe and we hope you enjoy our exciting new MMP content.
